A Prayer Still remains

For my pride, fretfulness, impatience, sins of heart and tongue, I implore forgiveness. For all else I yearn with gratitude.

I begin each day with thoughts of thee

There is no rush with this Love, yet time quickens it’s pace

Oh Morning Breeze

I lay my head down dreaming- thy bronze shining face!

The strings of my heart still sing for you

Taking silk cloth over, wrapping it tightly

Attempting to stop the lips within my chest from serenading your names

Everyone can hear..

I’ve muffled it from the ears of their understanding

Descending to a place where other people forget

Yet

This prayer still remains

Perhaps it’s all I’ve ever had..

I Love you more today than ever before

It’s from اللّٰه
