Golden Ladders Rise

Rolling amidst the dark blue depths of each deep night

Have I become intimate with mystery in all of its layers

With lips to kiss the dust of thy threshold’s light

Woven into these heard and unheard prayers

Around your little foot steps golden ladders rise

rungs of compassion up and down the starlit skies

But ah - the blessing of your storm calming eyes

They bring the volcanoes to peace

Turn tornadoes to rest

Spring Love upon winter

How can I tell you of that which I feel?

I am not faithful in my love, for I do not die and stay dead each day separated from her. What heart of flint and stone is mine, that I dare to continue beholding a moment in this world without her…

It’s from الله
