The spirit itself which delicately drapes
All of it comes in a myriad of shapes
Human, jinn, plant, or animal
Essence doesn’t die - the visionary form escapes
The cathartic frequencies of music long ring out
Perish the sanctimonious and overly devout
A draft perfumed by the light flick of your hair turns a lover insane
This night long meditation is evermore in my sleepless brain
It bears a ringlet’s crescent and a lip sweeter than sugar cane
Somewhere in the first heaven near a cloud summit
This door is always open, I can never seem to shut it
Champagne dew sprinkles and diamonds snow
Someone asked me where emeralds grow
I gave them my cup and they took a few sips
Phoenix took flight and then pointed to your lips
