Oasis Eyes
Emancipations embrace welcomes as it gets tighter
Wings be the weights that help ashes feel lighter
سُـبْحانَ الله
Standing tall and amazed
Lightly salted air whisked by an ocean this soul craved
With what bounty, beauty, and generosity has God made
Sights and sounds unseen to the depraved
On every side, step, and ceiling engraved
Mystic symbols of hearts born free once enslaved
Not the source of energy and life of all that are outside
Not the one for whom the day is alive, then at night it hides
Nor the sun who bestows it’s glint from up in the skies
Have you seen the earthy star of balance that cries?
The neck bends, to catch a glimpse of that sun rise
Holy arches curved over the beloved’s oasis eyes
Dark gold silk carpets, wind paving the way
She can bring oceans to the desert
Chuckling to work and play
It’s from الله
