Her face reminds me of justice, music, good food, and God
But that’s just the tip of the divine iceberg, all my words are flawed
A dagger she stabbed and twisted in my arteries produces endless pain
Slicing sinew and muscle this love flows for her constantly, sadly in vain
Scars and shards of granite lodged in the heart I take with me to the grave
At least they’re a memoir of her that I can always save
