Alone In The Cold
Bereft and chastised
Fate slaughtered and baptized
Here lies the room where I first met my wife
Alongside streets I walked with the love of my life
My face streams waterfalls gushing forth shattering plight
Now I tread alone in the cold damp darkness of night
Constant frequencies of cries shiver down my spine
From it’s temporary house this soul sets forth to climb
Hastening back to it’s abode of eternal prime
A few keys nature fitted on life’s grand piano
Disorderly breaking at the rude touch of time
Now the rush of glorious music trembles through a shining place
Visions dim and fade, then vanishing into space
Yet only for a little while longer, the chains of earth shall bind
The Angel of death kissing these parched lips
And my soul it’s home may find
It’s from الله
