Star of Silk
When she smiles
A star of silk is born in another galaxy
Angels write down it’s state frantically
A supernova
Love’s linen bursts forth emphatically
A woman, a warrior in her own right
There’s a look in her eyes I’ve seen at night
You might never know the battles she’s come to fight
It’s impossible to comprehend her maternal might
Amidst souls plagued in darkness
This one is a loving light
Passion can rarely, nay never be mild
I saw a picture of her holding a child
Her shining smile made the full moon dull
The glow on her face rendered sun rays null
What of those poems and abstracts
What of these ancient flashbacks
What consequence as a lover
One day she’ll be a Mother
