Star of Silk

When she smiles

A star of silk is born in another galaxy

Angels write down it’s state frantically

A supernova

Love’s linen bursts forth emphatically

A woman, a warrior in her own right

There’s a look in her eyes I’ve seen at night

You might never know the battles she’s come to fight

It’s impossible to comprehend her maternal might

Amidst souls plagued in darkness

This one is a loving light

Passion can rarely, nay never be mild

I saw a picture of her holding a child

Her shining smile made the full moon dull

The glow on her face rendered sun rays null

What of those poems and abstracts

What of these ancient flashbacks

What consequence as a lover

One day she’ll be a Mother

It’s from الله
