في بحر الصباح
In the Sea of Sabah
A Golden oystered pearl
Rises to the surface
With a twiddling and a twirl
From the lowest depths with ease
Waiting with hands open in prayer
Over the horizon a mystic breeze
Falling as dew into mouthed shells
Over the water, Instantaneously
Shut to reverse course in totality
Careening back into the Ocean’s depths
Bearing in the heart
A pearl drop of minds
Which somehow the diver
Bashir then seeks and finds
It’s from الله
