Seeming ever blessed in it’s way
Alike and dissimilar every other day
Yet tonight I sigh more heavily
This night has a billion eyes
The day has only but one
Yet sight of a bright world ceases
With the dying, setting of the sun
A mind has a billion and one eyes
The heart only has but one
The light of life cripples and dies
When love is once again, done
This glass is fragile to a forenoon wind leaning
This true love that is fresh and anew every hour
Like the sweet coming of the Moon over it’s evening
