When chandeliers are lit in quiet skies, oh how much more do I pine for thee

Pulled towards her spirit are my eyes, as palatial stars read ripples off the sea

The scent is so colourful, the language so bright

These emotions like waves, that soar in dark flight

Stillest when they shine; An earthly love lies hushed overnight

Beneath the heaven of thine; A holy love lies hidden out of sight

Beneath her Earthly feet so divine

Unseen flower petals of prayer from a Father’s heart

How many years have I pined for thee

When chandeliers are lit in quiet skies

I flood lakes from my bewildered eyes

How many tears have dripped and drowned for thee?
