Upon The Altar
True Love does not live with desire alone as it’s sign
With my thoughts of you I have built more than just a shrine
A place where time doesn’t exist, but a feeling divine
And upon the altar’s silky sheen
A few loving words are clearly seen:

Have from my worship all sincere deeds, the entire share
Even in your shadow grows greenery
The Sun’s light cannot bring to bear
Beyond stars, an immortal glory which has never set
Out of all gifts of Heaven
